Cathal Murray passed away on Friday 26th of June, surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of the staff in Mullinahinch Nursing Home.
Predeceased by his son Mairtín, his beloved grandson Dónal, his parents and his wife Maureen who passed away in January.

Forever loved and cherished by his children; Dolores (Seamie Deeney), Aine (Michael O’Sullivan), Ciaran (Deirdre Sheridan), Paula (Paul O’Carroll), daughter-in-law Collette, his 18 adored grandchildren, his brother Paddy, his sisters; Ita and Mai, his nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and all who knew and loved him.
Cathal will repose at Clerkins Funeral Home, Milltown, Monaghan (H18YF22) on Sunday the 28th of June from 2pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Cathal’s funeral procession will arrive on Monday (29th) to St Macartan’s Cathedral for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Latlurcan cemetery.
