Cathal Owens passed away on Sunday, June 28th, 2026. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital, Drogheda.
Deeply regretted and remembered with love by his devoted wife Kathleen and daughters Sinead Maguire (David), Karen Carragher (Vincent), Lynette Woods (Kevin) and Aimee Finn (Brian), his adored grandchildren Jack, Katie, Erin, Laura and Evie Grace, sisters in law Rosina Owens and Chris Owens and brother in law Paddy Sherry, nieces, nephews, extended family members, relatives, neighbours, and many friends.

Cathal will repose at Ward's Funeral Home, Ballybay, (A75H585) tomorrow, Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm.
Cathal’s funeral cortège will leave from his home in Loch Mór Avenue on Wednesday morning at 10:30am proceeding on foot to arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Ballybay, for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
