Derek Anderson passed away on Sunday 21st June 2026, peacefully in Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his wife Ruth.
Derek will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his much loved daughters Carol, (Robert) and Nicola, his cousins, extended family, neighbours, many friends, and by all who knew and loved Derek.

Derek will repose at Martin's Family Room, Newbliss (H18 C962), on Monday, June 22nd, from 4pm to 9pm.
Derek's Funeral service will take place tomorrow Tuesday 23rd in Newbliss Presbyterian Church,at 2pm, followed by burial in adjoining Graveyard.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Patient comfort fund, Cootehill Cancer Care, c/o Martin's Funeral Directors, Newbliss or any family member.
