Dessie Galligan passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29th 2025, surrounded by his loving family in Lisdarn Unit, Cavan.
Pre-deceased by his father, Edward (Eddie).
Beloved son of Ann and dear brother of Eamon (Angela), Paul (Sarah), John (Anita), Josephine (Wilhelm), Harold, Barry, Noel (Teresa), Brian (Petra), Anna-Marie (Dean), Michael, Francis (Iara) and Philip (Yohana). Deeply missed by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, Sunday from 2.00pm until 4.00pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 2.00pm in the Cathedral of SS Patrick and Felim, Cavan, followed by Cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan.
