Dominick Cadden passed away on Friday June 5th 2026, peacefully in the loving care of his family and the wonderful staff at Cavan General Hospital.
Predeceased by his parents Dominick and Rose, his sister Mary and his brothers John, Larry and infant Noel.
Dominick was dearly loved and will be very sadly missed by his devoted wife and best friend Gay, his heartbroken children Ursula and Donal, his adored grandchildren Patrick and Cormac, and son in law Niall. Lovingly remembered by his brothers Paddy, Gerry (Mary), Jim (Máire) and Martin, sisters Anne Smith and Bridie York (Jack), brothers in law, sister in law Mairead, nephews, nieces, and all his extended family. Deeply regretted by his many friends especially the Mac Kenna family and his loyal companion Bruno. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12C821) on Monday evening from 4pm until 7pm. Removal from his home on Tuesday morning at 11.40 travelling to St.Felim's Church, Ballinagh for a Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. Dominick's Funeral Mass will be available to view live and the link will be posted here in due course. House private to family and neighbours at all times please.
