Frank "Frankie" Smith died on Sunday, March 22nd 2026, suddenly and unexpectedly at his home.
Former member of the Annalees Showband.
Predeceased by his parents Peter and Susan Smith, his brothers; Charles, Peter Jr and Austin and his sisters; Margie, Anne and Carmel.
Frank will be very sadly missed by his loving partner Anne, brothers; Jimmy (Monaghan), Tony (Cullies) and Noel (Kilbeggan) and his sister Mary Cosgrove (Limerick), his sisters in law, nephews, nieces and all his many relatives and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Frank will repose at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12C821) on Wednesday evening from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Ballyhaise on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock followed by a cremation service in Lakelands Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the Irish Heart Foundation via their website or donation box in the Funeral Home. House private to family at all times please.
