Frank (Franky) Reel passed away on Thursday, 16th July 2026. Peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents John and Rose, his daughter Deborah and brother Martin.
Deeply regretted by his adored wife Marie, the love of his life, his sons and daughter Philip (Tracy), David (Claire) and Katie (Jess). Remembered with love by his adored grandchildren Aaron, Hannah, Daniel, Bradley and Ruby, all his extended family, neighbours and friends.
A Kind and Gentle Soul Well Lived and Loved
Reposing at his residence A82 E397 on Friday 17th July from 4pm – 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10:45 to arrive at St. Anne’s Church, Bailieborough (A82 VY38) for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock with cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan (H12 RF78).
No Flowers Please, donations in lieu, if desired, to The Alzheimer Society of Ireland or Cavan Monaghan Palliative Care via donation links, any family member or funeral director.
The family would like to thank Frank’s carers Josie, Dawn and Kian for all their love and support.
