Geraldine Rooney (née Kirk) passed away on Thursday, 6th November 2025. Peacefully, surrounded by her cherished family, at her home.
Predeceased by her husband Brian, her parents Micheal & Dympna and her brother Hugh.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her beloved family; her daughters Mandy & Lorna (Chris) and her son Bernard (Amy), her much-loved grandchildren; Tiernan, Sarah, Mya, Tahlia & Kali, her sister Marion and her brother Raymond, her extended family, friends & neighbours.
May she rest in peace.
Geraldine will repose at her home, Donaghmoyne, A81 T263, on Friday, 7th November from 2pm until 9pm, house private at all other times. Funeral Cortège will leave her home on Saturday, 8th November, proceeding to St. Lastra's Church, Donaghmoyne, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
No flowers, please, donations in lieu, if desired, via donation box c/o Lonergan Funeral Directors or directly to Carrickmacross Cancer Society.
