Gerard (Gerry) McCaughey died on Monday, April 27th, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his wife Paula (Mullen), parents Kathleen and Francis, and infant sister Ann.
Deeply regretted and remembered with love by his family; daughter Carol-Lee, sons; Paul, Mark and Philip; his loving partner Eileen Lee and her family Amanda, Jimmy, Gregory and Robert; his brother Pat; sisters; Deirdre, Jean, Celine, Frances and Terri; son-in-law Mark; daughters-in-law; Caroline and Olivia; his adored grandchildren; Mark, Oisín, Gemma, Caoimhe, Ryan, Paula, Liam and Fíadh; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and many friends.
Gerry will repose at his residence tomorrow, Wednesday from 4pm until 8 pm among his family and close friends only by request please.
Gerry’s funeral cortege will travel from his home on Thursday morning at 11:20am (driving) to main street, proceeding on foot from here to arrive at St. Mary’s Church Castleblayney for Funeral mass at 12noon , followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only please donations in lieu if desired to Castleblayney Cancer society, C/o Wards Funeral Home or by donation box.
