Wednesday, 25th June 2025. Peacefully, surrounded by her adoring family, in the wonderful care of the management & staff of Moorehall Lodge Nursing Home, Ardee.
Predeceased by her husband Evan, her parents Michael & Katie and her brothers; Fr Michael, John, Brendan & Tom and her sisters; Maureen, Rosaleen & Kathleen.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her beloved family; Joan (Lori) & Evie, her much-loved grandchildren; Niall, Deirdre & Katie, her brother Leo and her sister Vera, her extended family, friends & neighbours.

Irene will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Thursday, 26th June, from 5pm until 7pm.
Irene's funeral cortège will leave the funeral home on Friday, 27th June, proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Michael's Cemetery, Cootehill.
