James (Jim) Murphy passed away on Sunday, August 10th, 2025. Peacefully after a brief illness in Cavan General Hospital.
Predeceased by his Parents James & Mary, brothers Tomas, Jack, Gerry and sister Molly.
Greatly missed by his nieces and nephews both at home and worldwide. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, friends and wider family circle.
Jim will repose at McMahon’s Funeral Home, Mullan Road, Emyvale. H18FK80 on Monday (11th) from 6pm until 8pm and Tuesday (12th) from 6pm until 8pm. Removal from the Funeral Home on Wednesday morning at 9.45am travelling via his home and Shanroe Cross to arrive at St Tierney’s Church, Roslea for funeral mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
