James (Jimmy) Cassidy

Predeceased by his daughter, Maggie (Coster) his brothers and sisters; Laurence, Anna (Higgins), Pete, Phill, Sheila (Carrol), Ownie and Jack.

May Jimmy’s Gentle Soul, Rest Now In Peace.

Forever loved and cherished by his wife, Mary, his children; Gerry (Patricia), Mary (Willie Smyth), Jim (Caroline), Michelle (Declan Mulligan), John (Eimear) and Philip (Annie).  Sadly missed by his son-in-law, David Coster, his cherished and adored 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Remembered by his sisters ; Madge (Dunne), Rose (Beggan), Kathleen (Rooney), Dympna (Mc Kenna) and his brother-in-law, Terry Dunne, his sister-in-law, Winnie. Deeply regretted by his nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and all who knew and loved him.

Reposing at his home on Sunday the 8th of March from 2pm until 9pm. Funeral procession will leave his family home on Monday (9th) morning to arrive to St Mary's Church, Urbleshanny for 11am Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass will be live streamed on Tydavnet RC Facebook page

Family home is private please outside wake times, to give the family the time and respect to spend with Jimmy.

Please note:All wake parking will be at Connolly Meats (H18KW18) where a Shuttle Bus will be in operation.
