Jean Taaffe née Creegan.

Legga, Moyne, Co Longford.

Saturday May 11th peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at Cavan General Hospital.

Pre-deceased by her husband Jim and her baby son Mark.

Sadly missed by her loving sons; Christopher (Fiona), Raymond (Michelle) and Shane, daughters; Marie Caffrey (Sean) and Joan Brady (Tomas), her adored 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, sisters; Sr. Kathleen, Tess, Eilish, Belinda, Philomena and Helena, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan on Monday evening from 5.30pm-8.30pm.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12.00 noon in St Mary’s Church Legga, Co Longford with interment afterwards in Moyne Cemetery

May her gentle soul rest in peace

Deepest condolences to Belinda, and the extended Taaffe and Creegan families on the sad passing of Jean, who is in our thoughts and prayers. May Jean rest eternally in the light of the Lord’s perfect peace, at His right hand.
