Jim Johnson died on Thursday, 26th February 2026 peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the Lisdarn Unit, Cavan.

Predeceased by his parents Joe and Bridget and his grandchild Aaron.
Deeply regretted by his son J.J (Katie), daughters; Donna (Paddy), Lorraine (Declan) and Aine (Davie), their mother Anne, sisters; May and Bridie, grandchildren; Michael, Joseph, James, Katie, Ava, Hannah, Rebecca, Lee, Hope, Isabel and Louis, niece, nephew, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough on Friday 27th from 5pm - 8pm. Funeral on Saturday 28th to arrive at St. Ultan's Church, Killinkere for Funeral Mass at 11am .

Burial afterwards in St Ultan"s Cemetery, Killinkere. House Private Please.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Cavan Monaghan Palliative Care via Donation Link, any family member or funeral director.

Deepest sympathy to Jim’s family on his passing I used to love mooching around his store and haggling with him for some of his pieces I still have some of his pieces. May he RIP

So sorry to hear about jim passing as we spent time in hospital together and jim had lots of stories to tell . Condolences to all his family at this sad time RIP JIM
