Jim O'Hanlon passed away on Sunday, February 8th, 2026. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family, in the exceptional care of the staff of the Willowbridge Ward, Monaghan Hospital.
Predeceased by his parents; Michael and Rose, sister May, brother Michael and grandson baby Patrick Duffy.
Sadly missed by his heart broken family, his devoted wife Kathleen, daughters; Bernie and Martina, sons; Barry and Keith. Remembered by his sons in-law; Sean and Stephen, daughters in-law; Martina and Noeleen. Adored by his cherished grandchildren; Hannah, Luke, Sarah, Aimee, Kayla, Katie, Lily, Rachel, Lucy and Jessica, his great grandchildren; Harry, Aoife and Logan. Fondly remembered by his cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at Ward's Funeral Home, Ballybay (A75 H585), tomorrow Monday from 4pm until 8pm.
Funeral cortège will travel from the family home in O’ Duffy Terrace on Tuesday morning at 11:30am (proceeding on foot) to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballybay for funeral mass at 12noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only please donations in lieu if desired to Monaghan General Hospital or the Ballybay Cancer Society, C/o Wards Funeral Home or by donation box.
