Jimmy Reilly died on Wednesday, 25th February, 2026, peacefully, in Cavan General Hospital. Surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his wife Bridie, his parents; Mary and Patrick, his grandson Daniel (who died in infancy) and all his beloved brothers and sisters.
Cherished and much loved father of Brian (Orla, Wexford), Richard (Mary, Chicago, USA), Samantha (James, Tiernahinch, Clones) and Stephen (Joanne, Chicago, USA). Sadly missed and remembered with love by his daughter, sons, son-in-law and daughters-in-law. Remembered by his grandchildren; Moya, Bronagh, Dean, James, Conor, Michael, much loved great-grandchildren; Maya and Daniel. Remembered by his brother Danny (Anne, Beechgrove, Clones), his partner Moyra, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Deeply regretted by his extended family, friends, neighbours and by all who knew and loved Jimmy
Jimmy will be resting at his late residence, Tiernahinch, Clones 9H23 EA47) on Friday 27th from 4pm to 8pm. House private to family and close friends at all other times, including Saturday morning. Removal on Saturday morning 28th at 10.30am to the Sacred Heart Church, Clones for 11am Funeral Mass.
Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver Cemetery.
