John Mc Gahan passed away peacefully on Sunday, 10th August, in his 94th year, surrounded by all his family at home. Predeceased by his grandson, Kieran.

Missed by his wife, Bridie; his children, Bernadette (Liam Wilson), Noel (Sadie), John Jnr. (Geraldine) and Malachy; his adored grandchildren, Linda, Shane, Sinead, Stephen, Rhianne, Calum, and Emma; and his 9 great-grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and his fellow fishermen.

John will repose at Clerkins Funeral Home Milltown, Monaghan (H18YF22) on Monday, 11th August from 4pm until 8pm. John's funeral procession will arrive to St Macartan’s Cathedral on Tuesday morning for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial alongside his grandson, Kieran, in Laturcan cemetery.
