Sunday, 22nd February, peacefully following a courageous battle with a short illness. Surrounded by his loving family, at Cavan General Hospital.
John McNeill, predeceased by his parents; John and Margaret.
Former soldier with the Irish Defence Forces/Óglaigh na hÉireann.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his devoted wife Mina, cherished children; Teresa (Rodney), Michelle (Darren), Martina (Eamonn), Marisa (Ronan), Margaret (Dean), James (Maria), and Annamarie (Christopher), adored grandchildren, sister Marion, brothers; Thomas, Joseph, James, Gerard, Michael, and Emmanuel, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
John will be reposing at Lawlor’s Funeral Home, Ernehill, Belturbet (H14 R583) this Tuesday evening from 6pm until prayers at 8pm.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Belturbet, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.
House strictly private, please.
