Josephine Catherine (Josie) Kilgariff (née Oates) passed away on Sunday, November 30th, 2025. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at Oakview Nursing home, Belturbet.
Pre-deceased by her husband Martin, son John and her 2 infant babies.
Dear mother of Gerard (Catherine), Annette (John Hamilton). Lovingly remembered by her adored grandchildren Killian, Aimee-Jo, Ciara and Shane and her 6 great-grandchildren, Tadhg, Isabel, Sienna, Caelan, Senan and Oisín. Deeply regretted by her nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan on Monday evening from 5.00pm until 8.00pm.
Reposing on Tuesday evening from 5.00pm until 8.00pm at the home of her daughter and son in law Annette and John Hamilton, Tycusker, Arva, H12 NH33.
Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 11.00am in St Michael’s Church Cootehill, interment afterwards in St Michael’s cemetery.
