Kathleen McCahill (née Keogan) died peacefully on Friday, January 23rd 2026, at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family and the wonderful care of staff of Surgical One.
Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Thomas and daughter Catriona, Parents Michael and Catherine Keogan, brother Seamus and sisters Nancy, Maureen (baby Catherine), Eileen and Sheila.
Beloved mother of James (Mary), Mairead (Tony Riley), Raymond (Paula), Mossie (Louanne) and Lorraine (Tom Cronin), adored grandchildren, Hilary, Michael, Leona, Brian, Thomas, Finn, Kate, Isabella, Ellen, Lauryn, Roisin, Molly, Gaia, Mia, Abigail and Jennifer; sister-in-law, Ita Keogan; brother-in-law, Peter McCahill (Rose); nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, H12RF78, on Sunday, January 25th from 5.30pm until 7.30pm. Removal from her home on Monday at 11.30am to St Michael's Church, Potahee, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon. Interment afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.
