Laura Ethel Fannin passed away on Friday 5th June, 2026, following a recent illness, in the care of staff in Monaghan Hospital.
Pre-deceased by her beloved mother Marjorie earlier this year, and her father Samuel.
Laura will be sadly missed by her dear sister Peggy (Johnston) and brother Leslie. She will be loving remembered by nephews and nieces Alison, Mark, Laverne, Noel and Ashley, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, cousins, extended family, friends and neighbours. Laura will be especially missed by her many dear friends and her entire devoted support team at Newgrove.
Reposing at Finnegan's Funeral Home, Lakelands, Dublin Road, Cavan, eircode H12 RF78, on Sunday, 7th June from 4pm until 6pm.
Funeral service in Drung Parish Church of Ireland, eircode H12 K096, on Monday, 8th June at 2pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.
