Margaret Finnegan (née Kerr) passed peacefully into eternal life on Thursday, January 29th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff of the Willowbridge Ward, Monaghan Hospital.
Predeceased by her parents Terry and Maureen Kerr, sister Kathleen and sister-in-law Maura.
Sadly missed by her loving family: Gerry, Donna (Fergal), Brenda (Seamus), Megan (Ryan), her ten grandchildren Karen, Lily, Finn, Sean, Maisie, Cian, Isla, Evie, Daniel and Molly; her brothers Martin, Noel and Joe; her sisters Eileen (Galligan), Angela (Kelly), Rita and Brid (Gnoza); extended family, neighbours and friends.

Margaret will repose at Wards Funeral Home, Ballybay (A75 H585), tomorrow Friday from 4pm until 8 pm. Margarets funeral cortège will travel from Wards Funeral Home, Ballybay on Saturday afternoon at 1:40pm, to arrive at Our Lady of Knock Church Ballintra for funeral mass at 2pm, followed by a private cremation.
Family flowers only please donations in lieu if desired to Willowbridge Ward, Monaghan General Hospital, C/o Wards Funeral Home or by donation box.
