Margaret (Rita) Mc Quaid (née Mc Nicholas) passed away on Friday 10th July, peacefully in the loving care of her family and all the wonderful staff of Mullinahinch House Nursing Home.
Pre deceased by her loving husband Johnny and Grandson Ryan.
Lovingly remembered by her sons and daughters; Eugene, Mary, Sean, Verona, Gerard, Martin, Paul, Albert, Breda and Noel. Deeply regretted by her sons in law & daughters in law, grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Rita will be sadly missed by her sister Mary (San Francisco), brother in law Fr. Macartan McQuaid and sisters in law Gertie McNally and Chris McQuaid (New York).
Rita will be warmly remembered by all the McQuaid and Mc Nicholas families, her many friends, neighbours and all who knew and loved her.
Rita’s remains will repose at her family residence in Moybridge (H18 Y938) on Saturday from 2pm to 9pm and Sunday from 12.30pm to 9pm.
Rita’s remains will leave Moybridge on Monday morning to arrive at The Church of the Holy Family Ballyoisin for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to ‘The Residents Comfort Fund, Mullinahinch Nursing Home’ c/o McMahons Funeral Home, Emyvale or any family member.
House strictly private to family only Monday morning please.
