Martin Mc Gilly, predeceased by his parents; John and Bridget, his brothers; Francis and Sean and his sister Mary.
Much loved husband of Ann and cherished father of Cára (Mark), Darina (Gerard) and Darren. Martin will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughters, son and their partners, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Martin.
Reposing at the family home Number 9, St Macartan's Terrace, (H18 Y996) on Monday (22/06/2026) from 5pm and all day on Tuesday (23/06/2026). Family time on Wednesday morning please.
Martin’s remains will leave the family home on Wednesday morning (24/06/2026) at 10.30am on foot, to arrive at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s New Cemetery, Latlurcan. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Cavan/Monaghan Palliative care, and Rossmore Ward, Monaghan General Hospital, c/o Martin's Funeral Director's, Newbliss or by donation box in the family home.
