Mattie Conaty died on Monday, March 23rd 2026, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, following a short illness bravely borne.
Predeceased by his father Terence and sister-in-law Teresa.
Deeply regretted by his heart broken wife and best friend Carmel. Sadly missed but lovingly remembered by his mother Bridget, brothers and sisters; Johnny (Margaret), Mary (Danny), Eileen (Norbert), Terence and PJ, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, Mary & Bernard, Liam & Martina, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, neighbours, relatives and his many friends.
Reposing at Lakeland's Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, tomorrow Wednesday from 5pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal from his home on Thursday, to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Laragh for Funeral Mass at 2pm, followed by cremation in Lakeland's Crematorium.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Palliative Care, in care of PJ Brady, Funeral Director.
