Michael Clerkin passed away on Sunday, 8th February 2026. Peacefully surrounded by his family at Cavan General Hospital.
Predeceased by his granddaughter Amy, his parents James and Annie and his brother Joseph.
Forever be missed by his loving wife Pauline, and their children Anita (John), Brian (Maria), Dessie (Frances), Adrian (Julie) and Paul, grandchildren Katie, Ryan, Conor, Pauric, Aoibhín, Caoimhe, and Saoirse, sisters Philomena and Anna, brother Dominic, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Mullen’s Funeral Home, Cootehill (H16 FD25) this Tuesday evening from 4pm until 6pm. Funeral cortége to arrive for requiem funeral mass on Wednesday at 12 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Drung, (H12 Y409), and can be viewed live on www.churchtv.ie/Drung with burial immediately afterwards in Drung cemetery.
