Michael Tully

Danesfort, Cavan

Michael Tully died on Wednesday August 6th 2025, peacefully in the loving care of his family and the staff at the Hermitage Clinic, Dublin.

Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Rose Tully.

Michael will be very sadly missed and dearly loved by his wife Patricia and his sons; Killian (Orlaith), Neal (Emma), Fergal (Jean), Micheal (Olivia) and Pauric (Ciara). Also by his 14 adored grandchildren, brothers; Eamonn and Sean, sisters; Kathleen King, Sue, Marie Tully-Hand, Evelyn and Patricia, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, all his extended family, good neighbours and a wide circle of friends. May he rest in peace.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12C821) on Friday evening from 4pm until 7pm. Michael's remains will leave his home in Danesfort on Saturday morning at 10.30am and will travel to St.Patrick's Church, Drumcor, arriving for a Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Burial will take place afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

My deepest sympathy to Patricia and family on the death of Michael. Always a pleasure to meet ever since we first met back in the days of the Boyscouts. May his gentle soul rest in peace. Charlie.

My sincere condolences to the Tully Family on the loss of Michael,husband,father and grandfather.I had the pleasure of getting to know him in St Pats where he stood up for me on a no of occasions.Met him only on a few occasions since but always had warm memories of him and the noble fella he was.Could not make his funeral as just back from holidays.May God embrace his gentle soul and give u all comfort in the weeks and months going forward .Val.Mc Caul.
