Olive passed away peacefully on Saturday, 31st May, in Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Jim, her parents ;Margaret and Patrick Sherlock, her sisters; Mary and Gretta, and her brother, Jim.
Olive was a cherished and much-loved mother to Dolores (McConnon), Teresa, Christine (Martin McKenna), Susan, and Jim (Marie). She will be sadly missed by her daughters, son, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, her twelve grandchildren—Noel, Leona, Lisa, Darren, Sean, Áine, Iain, Aoife, Alana, Alexandra, Conor, and Georgina—and their partners; her five great-grandchildren—Lucy, Sé, Éire, Saorla, and Halle; extended family, neighbours, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

Olive will be resting at the family home, 9 Belgium Park, Monaghan (H18W822), on Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd June, from 2pm to 9pm. (Family time at all other times, including Tuesday morning, please.)
Removal on Tuesday morning, 3rd June, at 10.15am to arrive at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan, for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Old Cemetery, Latlurcan.
Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Intensive Care Unit, Cavan General Hospital, c/o Martin’s Funeral Directors, Newbliss, or via donation box at the family home.
