Patrick Sorohan died on Sunday, the 15th of February 2026, peacefully in the loving care of his family and staff at Cavan General Hospital.
Pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Nancy, sister, Sister Mary Norbert. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons; Martin (Mary) Gerry, Pat, (Sharon) brothers, sisters, grandchildren; Shandra, Amy, Sophie, Ryan and Ben, great-grandsons; Danny and Billy, nieces, nephews, neighbours and many, many friends.
Reposing at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan, (H12 C821) on Monday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
Funeral mass on Tuesday at 12 noon in the Cathedral of Ss. Patrick and Felim, Cavan, followed by burial in St. Bridget's Cemetery, Killygarry.
Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Heart Foundation via donation box in funeral home.
