Peadar McCabe passed away on 22nd March 2026. At Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, following an illness bravely borne.
Predeceased by his parents, Peter and Eileen.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving children Sharon (David), Trish (Dessie), Eilish (Barry) and Sarah (David) and by Bridgie their mother, and by his adored grandchildren Leah, Ruth, Ciara, Sinéad, Devin, Lauren, Aifric and Breffni.
Sadly missed by his daughters and grandchildren and by his brother Padraig, his sister Maura (Sheridan), sisters-in-law Catherine and Tina, brothers-in-law Martin and John, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and his lifelong friend Michael.
Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia, Co. Cavan, A82 YV58, on Wednesday evening from 5.00pm until prayers at 8.00pm.
Removal from Brigid’s home in Drumrath on Thursday morning, arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Cross, for Funeral Mass at 11.00am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
