Peter Connolly passed away on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025. Peacefully at home, in the loving care of his family.
Predeceased by his Parents; Pat and Mary Ellen, grandson James, brother Felix, Fr Pat, sister Teresa and nephew Paul.
Dearly beloved husband of Annie and a much loved father of Ciaran (Marian), Martin (Diane), Padraig and Sean (Joanna). A treasured grandfather to his loving grandchildren; Ellen, Anna, Grace, Cara, Erin, Amelia, Patrick and Hannah. A dear brother of Joe (Eileen RIP), Mary and Eugene (Mairead RIP). Fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Mary and brother-in-law Jimmy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brothers, sister, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews and large circle of family and friends.
Peter will repose at Swift & McCaffrey Funeral Home on Wednesday (22nd) from 2 pm concluding with prayers at 8 pm and again Thursday (23rd) from 2 pm concluding with prayers at 6 pm. Removal from his home on Friday morning at 10.15 am to arrive at St Tierney’s Church, Roslea for 11 am funeral mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family home private on Thursday evening to family and friends please.
