Philip Sheridan passed away on Friday 31st October 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. In the excellent care of the nurses and staff in Castlemanor Nursing Home, Cavan.
Predeceased by his parents; John and Helena, brothers; John Joe and Malachy, grandson Conor.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, sons; Declan (Clare), Gerry (Brenda), Oliver (Catherine) Galway, daughters; Helena (Stephen King), Attracta (David Donohoe), Aisling (Joseph Crowe). Remembered by his brothers; Tony, Thomas and Oliver, sisters; Gertie and Annamay. Adored by his grandchildren, great grandchildren. Deeply regretted by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Philip will be reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan (H12 RF78) on Saturday from 4pm until evening prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 1pm in St. Brigid's Church, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan (H12 DD79). Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Due to the death of Philip, The Meadow View Bar & Restaurant will be closed on Saturday and Sunday and will reopen on Monday.
