Richard (Dick) Shirley passed away on Saturday, February 21st, 2026. Unexpectedly, but peacefully, in the care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
Funeral service in St.Patrick's Church of Ireland, Church Square, Monaghan, eircode H18 X993, on Tuesday 24th February, at 1pm. Followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium Cavan.
Callers are welcome to the family home this evening from 5pm until 9pm.

Forever missed by his loving wife Pat, sons Brian (Noeleen) and Roger (Shirley) and daughter Lynn (Charlie). Also his adored grandchildren Max, Poppy, Sam and Jack, brother-in-law Bill, sisters-in-law Carol and Frances, nieces, nephews, good neighbours, friends and all who knew him.
