Saturday 14th June, 2025. Peacefully, in Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his family.
Predeceased by his loving wife Bridie, parents Nancy & Johnny and his brother Nobby.
Sadly missed by his heartbroken family Olivia (Shay), Sharon (Craig), Derrick (Anne Marie), Pamela (Niall). His grandchildren Bailey, Dylan, Corey, Nicole, Rhiannon, Abbie & Cassidy. His brothers John & Martin, sisters Molly & Esther. Sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

Reposing at Gibneys Funeral Home, Oldcastle (A82 D76) on Monday from 5pm - 8pm. Funeral Mass in St. Brigid's Church, Oldcastle at 11am on Tuesday with burial afterwards in local cemetery. The Funeral Mass may be viewed on the attached link https://churchmedia.tv/st-brigids-church-oldcastle.
The family would like to thank the staff of Cavan General Hospital, Medical Ward 3, for their outstanding care of Bertie & incredible support to the family through his time there.
