Sally Hughes (née McCabe) passed away on Monday, December 1st, 2025. At Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents Tommy and Teresa Mc Cabe.
Deeply missed by her children Brian, Bronagh, Sarah, Ciara and Barry and her loving partner Tom Herron. Remembered by her adored grandchildren Sean, Eva, Jake, Cooper, Florence, Sally and Darcie. Deeply regretted by her daughters-in-law Sinéad and Marie; sons-in-law Paddy Kelly and Andrew Sinclair; her siblings Eugene McCabe and Teresa Geraghty; and Barry Hughes, with whom she shared her five children. She will also be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends.

Sally will repose at Wards Funeral Home, Castleblayney (A75 NP30), tomorrow evening, Wednesday, from 5pm until 8pm. Her funeral cortège will arrive to St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney, on Thursday morning for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by private cremation on Friday afternoon.
