Sam Dunwoody passed away on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025. Peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital.
Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Betty, sisters Gretta and Dorothy.
Dearly missed by his loving family; Trevor (Valerie), Valerie (David Gray), Gary (Jennifer) and Sandra ( Trevor McVitty). Also his treasured grandchildren Jessica, Georgia, Leah, Alanna, Dillon, Matthew, Philip, Ryan, Erin, Adam and Zara. His sisters Hazel (England) and Helen (Australia) and the entire family circle.
Resting at his home on Friday, 25th July, from 1pm until 9pm. Please enter from Derrylusk and exit from Selloo ( follow signs). Funeral service on Saturday, 26th July, in Smithborough Presbyterian Church, eircode H18 HY02, at 2pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Sam if so desired to Smithborough Presbyterian Church Repair Fund, (Cheques made payable to same) C/o Conly Funeral Directors, Ballybay, Co.Monaghan or any family member.
