Seamus (Doc) Galligan passed away on Thursday, May 14th 2026. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Sheelin Nursing Home.
Predeceased by his parents Nancy & Brian, sister Marion and brothers Joe, Peter, Michael & Bernard.
Sadly missed by his wife Anne, daughters Julie (Colin) and Claire (Mark), sons Brian (Karen) and Shane (Mary), adored grandchildren Darragh, Rebecca, Emma, Ally, Bobby, Grace and Phoebe, sister Ann, brother Noel, brother in law Padraig, sisters in law Oonagh & Angela, Uncle Michael Baines, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck, (A82 DX59), on Sunday (17th) from 6pm - 8pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Monday (18th)
at 12noon in St. Patrick's Church, Kilnaleck. Burial afterwards, in the family plot, in St. Aidan's Cemetery, Butlersbridge.
