Seamus Keenan passed away on Tuesday, 7th October 2025. Peacefully in Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Bernadette, parents Paddy and Kathleen, sister Collette and brother-in-law James Gartland.
Cherished father of Roy (Aideen), Debbie, Mark (Bernadette), Hayley (Tony Barr) and Julie (Mark Cornyn). Sadly missed by his daughters, sons, daughters- in- law and sons-in-law. Remembered by his grandchildren, Deirbhile, Patrick, Abi, Amy, Seamus, Quinn and Chloe. Missed by his sisters Mary, Patricia Maguire (Phil), Nancy Ferrick (Francie), Eileen McCabe (Dermot), his brothers, Tony (Eileen Stark) and Dermot. Deeply regretted by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, fellow huntsmen, many friends and by all who knew and loved Seamus.

Seamus will repose at the family home, Coolcorragh, Threemilehouse, Co. Monaghan, (H18 P962), today Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm and Thursday from 2pm to 8pm. Family time at all other times, including Friday morning Please. Removal on Friday morning at 10:30am to St Mary's Church, Threemilehouse, for 11am Funeral Mass. Cremation in Lakelands Crematorium at 1.30pm to family only Please
A shuttle bus will be in operation from Sean McDermotts sports complex.
