Sheila McElwaine (née Hamilton) passed away peacefully on Friday 27th February 2026 after a short illness, in the care of the wonderful staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband Robert.
Forever missed by her adoring children Victoria (Josh), Alvin and Richard, her siblings Joyce, David (Pauline), John (Fidelma), George (Elaine), Robert (Florence) and Jean (Dessie). Also lovingly remembered by her parents-in-law Victor and Freda McElwaine, brothers and sister-in-law William (Georgina), Vera (Richard), Philip (Niamh) and David as well as her many cherished nieces, nephews, friends, neighbours and work colleagues.
Reposing at her home on Sunday 1st March from 2pm until 7pm. House strictly private at all other times please.
Funeral service in First Castleblayney Presbyterian Church on Monday 2nd March at 3pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only please.

McElwaine Agri (Broomfield) will be closed as a mark of respect on Monday.
