Sr. Marion O’Mahony
Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Convent, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan, and formerly of Faha, Dripsey, Co. Cork.
Sr. Marion O'Mahony passed away on Thursday, September 11th, suddenly at her residence.
Sr. Marion was well known and loved in London, as a parishioner of St. John Fisher’s Church Merton London, as a nurse in St. Anthony’s Hospital and also as a volunteer at The Passage for the Homeless.
Predeceased by her parents, John and Mary, her brother Paddy, sisters Catherine (Barry-Murphy), Ellen (Richardson), and Pauline (Twohig).
Deeply regretted and remembered with love by her brother Tim, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family, her religious community, the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Community and her many friends.

Sr. Marion will repose at the Convent Chapel, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan (A75EH99) on Sunday afternoon (September 14th) from 3 pm until removal at 6:45 pm (driving) to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballybay, for reception prayers at 7 pm.
Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballybay, on Monday morning at 11 am, followed by removal to her native Co. Cork.
Sr. Marion will repose at Crowley Funeral Home, Bothar Saclay Ballincollig, Co. Cork (P31 W982) on Tuesday evening from 7 pm until 8 pm. Funeral liturgy in the Sacred Heart Church, Western Rd, Co. Cork, on Wednesday morning at 10:45 am, followed by cremation in The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, at 1 pm.
Burial of ashes will take place at a later date in Glandore Cemetery, Co. Cork.
