Sunday, 26th July, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. In the wonderful care of the staff in the Lisdarn Unit in Cavan General Hospital, in her 87th year.
Teresa Smyth, predeceased by her husband Seamus, her sisters; Margaret and Katheleen and her brothers; Patsy, Pete, Frank and Gerard.
Teresa will be always loved and cherished by her children; Jim (Valerie), Dominic (Mary)Caroline (Karl Cassidy) Jonathon (Christine) and Barbara (Henrique), her beloved and cherished grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by her sisters; Bernadette (Stephen), Geraldine (Paul), her brother John James (Betty), her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, her nieces and nephews in Ireland, United States and England, her friends, neighbours and all who knew and loved her.
Teresa will repose in Clerkin's Funeral Home, Milltown, Monaghan (H18YF22) on Monday (27th) & Tuesday (28th) from 4pm until 8pm.
Teresa’s funeral procession will leave her family home on Wednesday morning, to arrive in St. Mary's Church, Urbleshanny for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery, Monaghan.
Funeral Mass will be live streamed though “Tydavnet Parish RC Churches” Facebook page.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to "The Lisdarn Unit, Patient Comfort Fund, Cavan General Hospital" by donation box or any family member.
