Tommy McCartin died peacefully on Friday 20th February 2026, surrounded by his loving family after a short illness and in the exceptional care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital.
Predeceased by his father, Tom; mother, Molly; and brother, Charlie.
Sadly missed by his adoring wife and best friend, Mary; beloved children, Siobhán, Michelle and Ronán; sons-in-law, Jason Martin and Tom Broderick; daughter-in-law, Aisling Mulligan; darling grand-daughters, Ella and Ada; sister, Bridget; and brother-in-law, Patsy McGovern; sister-in-law, Marian McCartin; mother-in-law, Joan McGirl; brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing in Smith's Funeral Home, High Street, Ballinamore (N41TD62), on Sunday, February 22nd, from 4pm until 6pm.
Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, February 23rd, in St. Mary's Church Drumreilly (H12XY92) at 11am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
House strictly private at all times.
