A film that was shot in West Cavan and which features a mainly Cavan-based cast and crew has won two coveted awards at the Galway Film Fleadh.
‘Redemption of a Rogue’ was named Best Irish Film and Best Irish First Feature at the recent awards which were held online.
The dark Irish comedy, described as the story of a prodigal son returning to his hometown in search of salvation for his sins, features renowned Cavan actor Aaron Monaghan.

The film has gained international attention since its premiere and will be released in cinemas later this year.
