Fourteen new Covid-19 cases in Cavan and Monaghan

A further seven people with Covid-19 have died and there are 28 new confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland today.

It brings the death toll here to 1,670 and the total number of cases is 25,163.

Locally, Cavan and Monaghan have seen another increase in cases today.

Cavan has now seen 854 confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic, up by eight since yesterday.

Monaghan meanwhile has 527 confirmed cases. That’s an increase of six since yesterday.

Eleven new cases were seen across the two counties yesterday.
