Around 13,000 households across Cavan and Monaghan received the €300 fuel allowance lump sum in Budget 2025.
As part of Budget 2025, a €300 cost of living support payment was issued to those in receipt of the allowance.
In total, 7466 people in Cavan received the payment, while 6,093 received it in Monaghan. Nationally, 409,721 people were in receipt of a €300 fuel allowance lump sum from Budget 2025.
