There has been 144 applications for Croí Cónaithe grants in the Ballybay - Clones MD, according to figures released by Monaghan County Council.
Fianna Fáíl Councillor, Seamus Coyle had asked for a detailed report on the Vacant Homes Grant in each of the communities in the district, since its inception.
The Council revealed that there has been 107 approvals in principle, with approximately 31 approvals paid out.

Across Co. Monaghan, grants have been approved to the value of €23 million, with an average amount of approval of €64,000.
There has been 400 Croi Conaithe grants received, and 360 grants approved.
