Some 390 new speed camera zones have been rolled out by gardaí in recent days as part of a campaign to reduce road deaths caused by speeding.
185 people lost their lives in 174 road crashes during 2025, compared to 171 deaths in 157 collisions in 2024, according to new figures released by the Road Safety Authority.
