3,500 people to attend a festival this afternoon in Dublin

The Government pilot event is taking place this afternoon from 3pm.

Antigen testing and viewing 'pods' will allow 3,500 people to attend a festival in Dublin this afternoon.

The event, at Royal Hospital Kilmainham, is part of a series of pilots aimed at safely bringing back music and culture to Irish audiences.

Sharon Shannon, Wild Youth and Gavin James are among the acts set to perform today.

Dr Robert Ryan from Medmark says anyone who takes an antigen test and returns a positive result will not be allowed attend.
