There 41 times more Airbnbs in Cavan than long term rentals.
There are 248 houses listed on the short-term holiday lets website and just six on Daft.ie.
In Monaghan there are 70 properties currently available on Airbnb, and five homes listed for long-term rent on Daft.

There are more Airbnbs than rentals in every county in Ireland.
Last week, Carrickmacross-based estate agent Dermot Conlon said a shortage of available rental properties in the region is driving prices up.
The latest reports have shown average rents in Cavan and Monaghan now stand at €970 and €960 respectively.
