There are 61 children currently on the waiting list for disability services in Monaghan.
According to figures provided by the Department of Children, 508 children and parents were offered an initial contact, an individual, or group intervention appointment.
April figures indicate that 546 children were on the open caseload for Monaghan CDNT.

In response to a question from Deputy Matt Carthy, Deputy Hildegarde Naughton confirmed that additional budgets for new development therapy assistant posts were provided and recruitment is ongoing.
Final figures for these posts are due to be confirmed.
